I am requesting information relating to the Young Person’s Day event held at Exeter Library as part of the Out There Queer Fest, which I understand was supported by Libraries Unlimited, Queer Diary and The Intercom Trust.
Please would you supply:
1. Copies of any risk assessments carried out in relation to this event, including safeguarding risk assessments concerning children and vulnerable adults.
2. The date(s) on which these risk assessments were completed, reviewed, and approved.
3. The names or job titles of the individuals responsible for preparing and approving the risk assessments.
For the responses to questions 1, 2 and 3, please see the response to this previous Freedom of Information request.
4. Any correspondence (including emails, internal memos, or meeting notes) discussing risks, safeguarding considerations, or suitability of the event for minors. In particular I am interested to know about the reports of an ‘anti-LGBTQ’ protest.
Please see question 3 of the response to this previous Freedom of Information request.
5. Details of any external organisations involved in planning or delivering the event, and whether safeguarding assurances or documentation were obtained from them.
As the event was planned and conducted by Libraries Unlimited, Devon County Council does not hold this information.
6. Copies of any incident reports, complaints, or safeguarding concerns recorded in connection with the event.
Please see question 4 of the response to this previous Freedom of Information request.
