The statutory consultation has been advertised in a number of ways, described below. Households within the Heavitree and Whipton area were sent leaflets during the weeks commencing 10 and 17 July 2023.

Devon County Council’s consultation process will vary depending on factors including:
- Which department(s) are responsible for the consultation;
- The geographical extent of the policy or scheme which is being consulted on; and
- The number of people expected to be impacted by the policy or scheme.

5. What correspondence has been sent to the school and on what dates?
Emails were sent to schools, attaching letters for circulation to parents, during the week commencing 10 July 2023.

Local businesses were sent letters and leaflets/posters during the week commencing 17 July 2023.
8. Why have the exhibition dates not been added to the leaflets or website?
Exhibition dates have been added to the scheme website. These were not listed on the information leaflet, as there were some details regarding the events still subject to confirmation at the time of printing the leaflets (which needed a lead-in period), and we did not wish to risk publishing inaccurate information.

10. How many people wrote in the commentary that they found the questions leading in any way?
1 respondent to the Phase 1 consultation.
11. Please provide the full results including comments from the consultation
Devon County Council (referred to as “the paying client” below) commissioned The Future Fox Ltd (referred to as “we” below) to host the Phase 1 and Phase 2 Consultations.
The Privacy Policy for the Phase 1 Consultation stated that “All the information we collect is anonymous and does not identify anyone. We do not collect any personal data and we do not share your information with third parties or use it for any other purpose other than analysing your suggestions”. The Privacy Policy for the Phase 2 Consultation stated that “Responses to this consultation are analysed by us and will be considered by the client. To do this, we will share the data and analyses with the paying client. We will not use your data for any other purpose.”
Disclosure of the information is therefore exempt pursuant to s. 41 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 as the information was provided in confidence.
