Planning permission has been granted for a new pedestrian and cycle bridge over the A379. To view the design of the bridge, please see the plan of the works.
Work tenders are now being sought for the construction of the bridge. The works are expected to start on site towards the end of the year. Full details of traffic management will be published in due course.
