Standards and guidance

The Devon County Council standards and guidance site has been created to help ensure consistency of user experience across all digital and print based communications.

The site aims to specify best practice in number of areas and takes guidance from a number of sources including our own internal research, GDS design patterns and elements, LocalGovDigital Service Standards and other industry wide guidelines and standards.

This is a live and evolving site to ensure the very latest research and standards are included as well as continuously being expanded to include further guidance in other areas of our communications delivery.
