Two new DfE documents linked to safeguarding
The Department for Education (DfE) have issued two new guidance documents to support providers in safeguarding children from harm.
The Information sharing advice for practitioners providing safeguarding services for children, young people, parents and carers outlines the importance of information sharing and how to do this is relation to data protection to ensure that children are safeguarded.
Protective security and preparedness for education settings – the aim of this document is to assist all practitioners to improve the security awareness as well identifying security vulnerabilities and suspicious activities.
