The parents childcare survey 2024

Every year we send out at least one childcare survey to parents living in Devon.

Here is this year’s parents childcare survey – please complete it yourself if you are a parent of a child or young person.

To achieve a good representative response please also share it with the families that you work with, your friends and your family. Please post this on your website, in your newsletter and on social media platforms.

The more replies we receive the clearer we can be about what childcare is needed, at what times, in which places and for specific ages of children.

The closing date is Wednesday 31st July 2024.

The responses, once analysed, can inform the business plans of those who wish to expand existing provision or set up new services. Our service matches the supply and demand to establish where there are insufficient places.

This year the survey will again be sent by email and text to families who have provided their details through the Citizens Portal. They may have done this when checking eligibility for two-year-old funding or free school meals or when applying for a school place. Some surveys will also be shared with partner organisations and through social media.
