Safeguarding special: Safeguarding policies strengthened and new draft attendance policy introduced ahead of EYFS changes

Devon Early Years and Childcare Service has strengthened its safeguarding policies and introduced a draft attendance policy to support early years providers in preparing for the EYFS statutory framework changes coming in September 2025.

These updates reflect the revised safeguarding and welfare requirements and aim to help providers ensure consistent, high-quality practice across all settings.
