Why does it matter?

To align with the learning that recently came out of our local Child Safeguarding Practice Review – effective multi-agency practice in identifying and responding to child neglect – Devon Safeguarding Children Partnership, the conference will focus on:

  •  key practice and areas where neglect is most challenging, so that we can notice and respond to neglect early
  • improving multi-agency safeguarding practice to enable us to respond effectively and collaboratively
  • building and enhancing the safety and wellbeing of children and young people to secure better outcomes
