Paediatric bladder and bowel care service training and education

Dealing with continence problems in early year’s settings and schools can be difficult. Toilet training is happening later now than in previous generations and schools report that increasing numbers of children are not toilet trained on admission.

Want to learn more about how children can be supported with this area of their development?

Why not book a free training or information session!

We can provide the following training sessions and in addition, attend parent evenings/ transition meetings and other events with our information stand:

  • ‘Nappy to Potty’
  • ‘The Journey from Nappy through to Toileting in Settings and Schools’

Training sessions can be delivered, subject to availability, on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.

Face to Face: daytime and twilight
Virtual: daytime, twilight and evenings

Prior to booking, please note the following:

  • When booking, please only do so for your setting/school as a team of staff. Although we try to accommodate as best we can, we are unable to facilitate individuals on mixed group training sessions apart from in exceptional circumstances, such as pre-organised Network Meetings and for Childminders
  • Unfortunately, we are unable to provide training to those settings and schools with a PL postcode, due to Plymouth having a stand-alone Bladder and Bowel Care Service.
