‘Less is more’ supporting early communication – fully funded conference

About:

This free half day conference ‘Less is more’ will have language and communication at the heart of everything being shared. There will be lots of practical ideas underpinned with theory. Keynote and workshop delivered by Alice Thornton, Specialist Speech and Language Therapist.

When and where?

Friday 17th October 2025 (9.30am – 1pm) at Holy Trinity Church, Barbican Terrace, Barnstaple EX32 9HQ

We will have the hall until 2pm, so please feel free to bring your lunch and have it with us after the conference. There will be tea/coffee and refreshments served and parking will be free.

Who can attend?

To attend, you must be an Early Years Practitioner (of any level) including if you work with a reception/foundation class in any of the following areas: Plymouth, Devon, Cornwall, Torbay, Dorset, BCP, Isles of Scilly.

We welcome people from the same settings requesting to attend. If we become over subscribed we might have to limit attendance to 1 setting per session but we’ll have more of an idea about this as people sign up.
