Learning briefing – neglect

Between June and August 2024 there were 3 serious incidents of parental neglect in Devon causing harm to children in Devon.

Devon Safeguarding Children Partnership (DSCP) has undertaken rapid reviews and this learning briefing is a summary of the cases including what worked well and what improvements are needed to prevent future cases.
