Fully funded oral health improvement training

The Oral Health Improvement Team are hosting a free virtual Oral Health Improvement training session aimed at parents, teachers, carers, foster carers and anyone who works with and enables children.

Learning outcomes:

  • Recognise how good oral health contributes to overall health and wellbeing
  • Explain the consequences of poor oral health
  • Identify the causes, symptoms and ways to prevent tooth decay and gum disease
  • Understand the techniques needed to help children maintain good oral hygiene
  • Locate the local pathways for accessing dental care

Dates:

  • Wednesday 14th January 2026 at 10am – 11:30am – virtual session
  • Tuesday 24th March 2026 at 6:30pm – 8:00pm – virtual session
