Free reducing parental conflict eLearning training

Devon County Council is offering fully funded eLearning training to provide insights and knowledge about conflict resolution in parental relationships.

There are two modules: one designed to support parents and the other to assist children experiencing parental conflict.

Upon completing the training, you will receive a free downloadable Amity Relationship Toolkit for each module. The eLearning modules and Amity Relationship Toolkits provide flexible, practical resources to enhance your skills in working with or supporting parents, children, or families. Positive relationships are crucial for effective parenting, which significantly impacts children’s well-being, self-esteem, and future opportunities.

We will explore ways to support families in building stronger, healthier relationships with improved communication, ensuring that all parents can be their best. The Relationship Toolkits are filled with information, tools, and resources to assist you in helping parents communicate more effectively. These resources will boost your confidence and curiosity about family relationship quality, whether in a professional, voluntary, or supportive role.

The training is accessible via a laptop, tablet, or a mobile device. Each training module takes a few hours to finish, but you can complete it in stages at your own pace, with no time limit.

If you’re interested in accessing the training, or if you have any questions about parental relationships please contact Lorraine Rowlands, the parental relationship coordinator for Devon: lorraine.rowlands@devon.gov.uk
