Find Childcare website – teething problems!

Thank you to the childminders who have contacted us about their business not featuring on Find Childcare despite having completed the Provider Self Update.

It has just come to light that if a provider does not consent to their address being published on Find Childcare that the provider will not appear at all on the website! We were not aware that this was happening but are now following it up with Capita to find a solution.

Having looked at other Local Authorities that use this system we feel sure that this is possible and hope it can be quickly sorted. We apologise for this and will do all we can to change it.

We should be able to publish childminders information without disclosing a full address – if you choose not to share where you live.

Thanks for keeping in touch. Now that we are aware of the issue there is no need to tell us – we will let you know when it is resolved.
