Adding 2-year-olds to the Autumn Amendment Task

Government updates

Updates this week include: Early years qualifications achieved in the United Kingdom – qualification checklist has been updated and updated information on ‘apply to join a nursery or other daycare organisation’ – to include updated info on reference requirement for roles that involve working directly with children.


Ongoing DfE training and support: Early Years Professional Development and Childminder Mentor Programme

The EYPDP programme is an exciting opportunity for early years practitioners to improve their understanding and skills in supporting the development of the most disadvantaged children between the ages of 2 and 4. Also information on the Childminder Mentor Programme.


Action for Children- funded webinars for parents and carers

Action for Children are offering a selection of webinars and online events including digital drop in session for male carers.
