Ofsted launches consultation into inspection changes
Ofsted has launched a consultation on a new approach to inspection and reporting on education providers, including early years providers. View the information slides which were shared at our recent briefing sessions.
A focus on Inclusion and SEND in the EYFS
In order to ensure Individual Inclusion Funding (IIF) is being used effectively to meet the needs of children with SEND we are asking settings to submit a termly review of the impact. Thank you to everyone who has already submitted a review.
Employment allowance
Early Years Childcare Providers are entitled to claim the Employment Allowance if they are private businesses or charities, and it is expected the vast majority will be eligible to do so.
Local school nature grants
What do bird boxes, bee hotels, and nature experts all have in common? They’re all available for free as part of our Local School Nature Grants programme, supported by players of the People’s Postcode Lottery. Open early years settings. Deadline to apply is Friday 4th April 2025.
