Apply now for wraparound childcare funding
Funding is available for wraparound childcare. You can claim for starting new provision, or extending existing childcare, a few hours a week, to meet the 8am – 6pm full offer. Funding can cover your running costs for the first year of operation. We can also offer sustainability funding to existing childcare settings.

Wraparound briefing sessions:
The Early Years and Childcare Service will be running a series of briefing sessions this term for all potential providers (schools, private or independent providers and childminders). The sessions will be delivered virtually through Microsoft Teams.
The session will cover the following:
- What is Wraparound Childcare Funding?
- What funding is available and how can I apply?
- What does a good childcare provision look like?
- Staffing ratios, qualifications, business management
- Open forum Question and Answer session
Dates:
- Wednesday 12th February 2025 at 12.30pm – 1.30pm – Join the meeting now

- Thursday 13th March 2025 at 7pm – 8pm – Join the meeting now
