A focus on Inclusion and SEND in the EYFS
As many of you will know, in order to ensure Individual Inclusion Funding (IIF) is being used effectively to meet the needs of children with SEND we are asking settings to submit a termly review of the impact.
Individual Inclusion Funding Termly review of impact
Early Years Consultants recently met to audit the reviews that had been submitted for the February deadline.
The reviews gave a great insight into the ways that the funding is being used and the impact on the child’s progress. Many of you shared ways you have used the funding to purchase additional sensory resources, provided more protected key person time, targeted activities and specific staff training. Many of you shared responses from parents and gave details of how you work in close partnership with families and other agencies.
Thank you to everyone who has submitted a review.
