    Forestry England offers a variety of downloadable resources designed for children in the EYFS and Out of School age groups. These materials can be used both in educational settings and during outdoor adventures, helping children explore and connect with the world around them.

  • Unnecessary temporary exclusion of recently vaccinated children

    The DfE and the UKHSA have become aware that some early education settings are temporarily excluding children who have recently been vaccinated, even if they feel well enough to attend. Please see message from Director of Public Health Programmes, Dr Mary Ramsay, explaining why such policies are unnecessary and can have serious unintended consequences for children and the early years settings they attend.

  • Family first partnership programme – regional Q&A sessions

    The DfE are running a regional Q&A session for the South West on 29 July 12pm – 1pm online. The session is open to any colleagues from local authorities, safeguarding partners and other relevant agencies (including education and childcare settings) who are working on or involved in the development of MACPTs locally in the region.
