Selective communicators online webinars
Do you work with children who only communicate in certain situations or with certain people? This webinar will explore the unique challenges and opportunities of selective communication in early childhood.
This webinar will be delivered on 2 dates at 2 different times. Please note that you only need to attend one webinar as the content will be the same on both of the dates.

- Wednesday 14th January – 9.30am – 11am

The aims of this session:
- Gain deeper understanding of why young children may find it difficult to speak
- Explore aspects of this complex difficulty
- Discover ways to support the child
- Ways to work with and support parents
- Routes of referral if needed

Neurodiversity in the early years network – 6 part series
Join us for an Inspiring series of online webinars designed to help early years practitioners, childminders and leaders to develop neurodiversity-affirming practice, creating environments of connection, safety and belonging for every child

- Session 1: Tuesday 4th November – 6.30pm – 7.45pm – an Introduction to neurodiversity in early years and becoming a neurodiversity affirming educator
- Session 2: Tuesday 2nd December – 6.30pm -7.45pm – our 8 sensory systems and how we can support our neurodivergent children
- Session 3: Tuesday 13th January – 6.30pm -7.45pm – creating a safe sensory environment and understanding neurodivergent behaviours
- Session 4: Tuesday 27th January – 6.30pm -7.45pm – play, connection, interaction and engagement with neurodivergent children
- Session 5: Tuesday 10th February 6.30pm -7.45pm – creating neuro-affirming goals and targets
- Session 6: Tuesday 17th March – 6.30pm -7.45pm – effective collaboration with parents and families with neurodivergent children
