Adding 2-year-olds to the Autumn Amendment Task

Dear Provider,

The Autumn amendment task/s have been issued with a deadline for submission of 23:59 on Monday 1st January 2024. The helpdesk will be closed for the Christmas period from Friday 22nd December 2023 until Tuesday 2nd January 2024 so please can we ask that you complete and submit your task/s prior to the 22nd December, if possible, in case you experience any difficulties and need to contact us.

With the introduction of the new entitlements from the 1st April for 2 year olds of working parents, we are requesting that you add all two year old children, who turned 2 prior to the 31st August, currently attending your setting to the 2 year old amendment task (not just the ones that have turned 3 in Autumn and who would be eligible for the 3 & 4 year old funding from 1st January).

Please do not record any hours for these children, unless they are eligible for two-year-old funding. These children will automatically show on the 3- & 4-year-old tasks when they become eligible, so you won’t need to add them again.

Please can you ensure that all funded children have been recorded on the relevant task/s with the correct start/end dates and that the termly hours are calculated correctly as the system won’t automatically do this for you. If a child has joined your setting after the headcount week, please record ‘0’ weekly hours and calculate termly hours from their start date to end of term/funding period (as applicable). If a child has increased/decreased hours, please amend termly hours only (you do not need to adjust the weekly).
