Your vote is safe
We have been working hard to make sure that you can vote safely in May. There are three ways to vote: by post, by nominating a proxy, or in person at the polls.
Use your voice in the local elections
- Vote for what’s important to you in your local area
- County councillors can represent your community’s needs
- Have a say in the priorities for the future of Devon
Voting in Devon's county council elections
How is this different to a general election?
You will be voting for someone who can help Devon County Council make decisions on key services including education, roads, social care for vulnerable adults and children as well as the local environment and Devon's countryside.
How will my vote make a difference?
By voting in the County Council election you are choosing the person who will use their local knowledge to stand up for the issues most important to you and the needs of your community.
Will the elections be Covid-secure?
Polling stations will be safe on 6th May. You can also vote by post, or by nominating a proxy to vote for you.
