Summary of Matter or Issue Requiring Decision:

Subject to agreement between Devon County Council, Manor Farm Tenants and Network Rail it is recommended that part land at Manor Farm, Holcombe be temporarily licenced to Network Rail to provide compound and haul road to enable rail improvement works at Dawlish.

Decision Taken:

To provide a licence to enable Network Rail to temporarily set up a compound and haul road through part land at Manor Farm, Holcombe to enable rail improvement works at Dawlish.

Summary of Reason(s) for Decision Taken:

To enable major rail improvement works to take place in Dawlish.  Both landlord and tenant will be compensated and there will be a requirement for Network Rail to fully reinstate the site.

Summary of Alternatives or Options considered and rejected:

To continue to farm the land.
