Summary of Reason(s) for Decision Taken:

The decision has been made as it is the most suitable option at the present time following competition of an options appraisal.

Summary of Alternatives or Options considered and rejected:

An appraisal was carried out regarding the options available to Devon County Council for the short-period whilst the current contract is being re-tendered via a Further Competition from the Crown Commercial Services Fuel Card and Associated Services V Framework.
This extension allows for a new contract to be re-tendered and fully mobilised.

There is no conflict of interest in relation to the extension of this contract.
