The Strategic Road Network is crucial in connecting the South West Peninsula to the rest of the country and are vital to Devon’s economy. As such, it is important that the interests of Devon County Council are represented in the DfT consultation period to highlight the need to invest in Devon’s SRN.

Summary of Alternatives or Options considered and rejected:

To provide no consultation response would not enable Devon County Council’s views to be represented.
