Steps to the main entrance and fire escape of Block 05 have failed and need improvement as they currently pose a Health and Safety risk.  The cost of reinstatement is £2,900.

In addition, an allocation of £4,100 for Furniture and Equipment was not included in the original tender but is required by the school to enable them to fit-out their new Block.

The total additional amount required for this project is £7,000, funded from unallocated Capital Maintenance Grant, which will bring the total amount allocated to the project to £266,900.
Authority is requested to move the allocation of £4,100  for FF&E from HCD&WM to E&L-Schools so that the School can be reimbursed for expenditure.
