Supporting Independence is a contract consisting of two Open Framework Agreements, each with three subsequent annual entry points.
Lot 1 – Group Based Care and Support
Lot 2 – Individualised Care and Support

Decision Taken:

To award a contract to the below organisations for the provision of the above contract. The contract will commence on 1st October 2019 for the period of 12 Months, with an option to extend for a further 12 months.

The decision has been taken on the basis of supplier(s) achieving the minimum quality threshold as per the tender requirements.

Summary of Alternatives or Options considered and rejected:

An option appraisal was undertaken to consider all elements of the services required, from this a competitive tender process was undertaken for a contract that consisted of 2 frameworks Lot 1 Group Based Care and Support and Lot 2 Individualised Care and Support.

Details of any conflict of interest and dispensation granted to the Officer taking the decision or by any Member of the Council in delegating responsibility for any specific express delegation:

There were no conflicts of interest.
