Decision to award the contract for CP1903-20 – Adult Safeguarding and Mental Capacity Act Training Courses (DCC & DSAP) following an OJEU EU tender process.

Decision Taken:

To award a contract (Subject to due diligence) to the below organisation for the provision of the above contract.

The contract will commence on 1st March 2021 for the period of 24 Months, with an option to extend for a further two periods of 12 months at the at the procurer’s discretion.

Summary of Reason(s) for Decision Taken:

The decision has been taken on the basis of supplier(s) achieving the highest overall score within a best value tender (optimum combination of whole-life costs and quality) in line with the European Procurement Directives award procedure of Most Economically Advantageous Tender (MEAT).

Summary of Alternatives or Options considered and rejected:

A competitive process was undertaken from which 11 bids were received for lot 1 and 9 bids received for Lot 2, these were considered as part of the formal evaluation process.

Details of any conflict of interest and dispensation granted to the Officer taking the decision or by any Member of the Council in delegating responsibility for any specific express delegation:

There were no conflicts of interest.
