Decision to award the contract for CP2499-24 A38 Deep Lane Pedestrian Cycle Bridge – Mini-Competition from Hampshire Gen-5 Framework following a tender process.
Decision Taken:
To award a contract (Subject to due diligence) to the below organisation for the provision of the above contract. Stage 1 of this contract will commence on 13th August 2024 followed by 4 weeks of mobilisation and will operate until 23rd December 2024. There is an option to proceed to Stage 2 (construction) at the procurers discretion and subject to achieving the requirements as set out in the Scope and associated tender documents.

Summary of Reason(s) for Decision Taken:
The decision has been taken based on the supplier achieving the highest overall score within a best value tender (combination of whole-life costs and quality) in line with the European Procurement Directives award procedure of Most Economically Advantageous Tender (MEAT).

A competitive process was undertaken from which 3 bids were received. These were considered as part of the formal evaluation process.
