Decision to award the contract for CPQ1503-17: Devon Safeguarding Adult Board – Leading Safeguarding Enquiries following a Formal Request for Quotation process.

Decision Taken:

To award a contract to the below organisation for the provision of the above contract.  The contract will commence on 1st December 2017 for the period of 24 months with an option to extend for up to a further 24 months

Summary of Reason(s) for Decision Taken:

The decision has been taken on the basis of bidder achieving the highest overall score within a best value tender (optimum combination of whole-life costs and quality) in line with the European Procurement Directives award procedure of Most Economically Advantageous Tender (MEAT).

Summary of Alternatives or Options considered and rejected:

A competitive process was undertaken from which eight bids were received; these were all considered as part of the formal evaluation process.
