Decision to award the contract for CPQ1480-17: Actuarial Services, following a further competition under the National LGPS Framework for Actuarial, Benefits and Governance Consultancy Services Primarily in Support of the Local Government Pension Scheme (NCCT40954)

Decision Taken:

To award a contract to the below organisation for the provision of the above contract.  The contract will commence on 1st April 2018 for a period of 72 months.

Summary of Reason(s) for Decision Taken:

The decision has been taken on the basis of the supplier achieving the highest overall score within a best value tender (optimum combination of whole-life costs and quality) in line with the European Procurement Directives award procedure of Most Economically Advantageous Tender (MEAT).

Summary of Alternatives or Options considered and rejected:

A competitive process was undertaken from which four bids were received; these were all considered as part of the formal evaluation process
