For a small number of children with significant needs, more joint assessment and planning may be needed, and an education, health and care (EHC) needs assessment is requested from the SEND Operations Team.
The Educational Psychology Service is asked by Devon County Council to give advice as part of this assessment. It is a legal requirement for an EP to provide advice as part of this process. We write a report to explain what we have found and what we think your child needs. Our reports are known as ‘psychological advice’.
