Educational psychologists

Our educational psychologists (EPs) work with parents, carers, schools, and other educational settings to understand the needs of children and young people, so they can plan ways to support them.

EPs work with children and young people who may need some help with:

  • Communication
  • Memory
  • Problem solving
  • Study skills
  • Thinking and learning
  • Relationships
  • Understanding behaviour
  • Understanding feelings

Information about Joint Assessment Meetings

Joint Assessment Meetings (JAMs) are an opportunity for parents, carers and children to meet with professionals to make sure there is a shared understanding of the child’s needs and the support required to meet those needs.
