Manually investigating the number of vacancies each advert represented would take an estimated 15 minutes per advert which is 16.5 hours, alongside taking the time taken to investigate vacancies arising from restructures, temp bank cover etc which would exceed 1.5 hours and take it over the 18 hours of officer time.

Under the Act, there is a duty to provide advice and assistance as to how a request can be refined to fit within the appropriate limit. Unfortunately, due to the way the data is held, this is not possible for this request.

Compliance with this request would exceed the appropriate cost limit under Section 12 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 which is £450 or 18 hours of officer time. There are currently 398 open requisitions on our system, to review one to establish the number of days between the requisition being raised and the applicant being made an offer would take approximately 10 minutes and this would total 66.3 hours to review all requisitions.

Under the Act, there is a duty to provide advice and assistance as to how a request can be refined to fit within the appropriate limit. Unfortunately, due to the way the data is held, this is not possible for this request.
