This information is available at Children In Need. This central government website includes information for both children in need and child protection, based upon financial years. The data for the financial year 2021/2022 will be published shortly.
2. The number of children classified as children in need during this period who died. Please could this be broken down by:
a) The date (day, month year)
b) Cause of death
c)Age of the child
Disclosure of this information would potentially identify both the children and families and would therefore be a breach of the first data protection principle. This information is therefore exempt from publication pursuant to section 40(2) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
Part B:
1. The number of children subject to a child protection plan by your local authority between 1 January 2018 to 26 August 2022
Please could this be broken down by year (for 2022, please include the year up to 26 August 2022)
2. The number of children subject to a child protection plan during this period who died. Please could this be broken down by:

c)Age of the child
