a) Why you do not commission vision screening?
Vision screening at age 4-5 is commissioned in Devon by NHS Devon Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG).
The ROVIC (Rehabilitation Officer for Visually Impaired Children) service is not commissioned to undertake screening of 4 to 5 year old children in school.
b) Whether a service is planned for the next financial year (2020/21)? This would be a CCG decision.
c) Whether an existing service in your area has been recently decommissioned? Not known. You may wish to refer your request to NHS Devon Clinical Commissioning Group
