1. What proportion of meals provided for sale to staff in cafes or canteens in Devon County Council offices is free of animal products (vegan).
At present approx 5% of our offer is Vegan whilst our vegan customer base is currently less than 1%. In addition vegan options are available on request from customers.
2. What proportion of meals provided for corporate events or entertainment by Devon County Council is free of animal products (vegan).
Corporate events customers agree menu requirements with Devon Norse which include vegan menu choices if requested. Currently this is less than 1% of our business.
3. What public commitments have members of Devon County Council’s executive made to reducing their own consumption of animal products, as an example and lead for their staff and Devon residents.
