Please can I have the raw data set of how many trees have been chopped down by the council since the start of 2017, broken down by year.
Please refer to the attached spreadsheet.
And after the council has received a request from an insurance company, how many trees have they chopped down because of this?
We do not hold the reasons for felling in an easily reportable format, so in order to determine which trees may have been felled following a request from an insurance company would require manually checking each individual record. A manual check of all 8664 records, taking 5 minutes per record, would total 722 hours time taken to retrieve the information. Therefore we are unable to provide this information as we consider this to be manifestly unreasonable under regulation 12(4)b of the Environmental Information Regulations 2004 due to the burden that this would place on Devon County Council.
