Would you please be able to confirm the details of any training provider frameworks you currently utilise and when these frameworks are open for new applications?
Devon County Council (DCC) uses a training provider framework to procure and contract with apprenticeship training providers. It is called the Yorkshire Purchasing Organisation (YPO) Apprenticeship Framework. Training Providers can bid to join the Framework throughout the year. The framework is updated every three months (March, June, September, December) to reflect any new providers who have joined or have added further apprenticeship standards to it.
Would you also please be able to confirm how much your current skills budget is and how much of this you subcontract out?
DCC’s apprenticeship levy is c£1.1m per year. DCC does not ‘subcontract’ this money out – this money is used to pay training providers for the cost of an approved apprenticeship.
