1. Please advise what follow up action has been taken following the submission of a petition to HATOC on 18.10.21 handed in by Cllr Peter Holland by residents of Thornpark Rise on the objection to a bus gate in that road. Has Cllr Holland received any correspondence at all on the matter other than an original acknowledgement? If he has not received any follow up correspondence, when will that be addressed?
A letter was sent, by email, to Cllr Holland from Dave Black (then Head of Planning, Transport and Environment) acknowledging the petition and responding to it. Cllr Holland acknowledged receipt of this letter.
2. Where is that petition now physically held and is there acknowledgement at DCC level that this petition exists? If so, who acknowledges its existence?
Receipt of the petition is recorded in the Exeter HATOC minutes (Agenda for Exeter Highways and Traffic Orders Committee on Monday, 18th October, 2021, 10.30 am – Democracy in Devon). We do not have a physical copy of the petition retained in the office; under GDPR, personal data must not be kept for longer than is needed. As the petition was responded to, there was no need to retain the personal details of petition signatories.
