Exeter North South Sweetbriar Lane then the total cost in previous years was £128,543.76 plus 23/24 projected cost of £3,500, totals £132,043.76.

Exeter HATOC report 13/10/20 (PTE/20/29) approved a budget of £250k

Who was responsible for mismeasuring the width of the sweetbriar lane cycle lane 

A provisional measurement was advised by the design team using the available mapping data at the time. The carriageway actual width was discovered at the detailed design stage following a more detailed survey of Sweetbriar Lane, which provided detailed geometries. We do not have details of individual names of staff.

What further risk assessment was carried out in relation to completing the cycle lane with an incorrect carriage way width 

The carriageway width issue was discussed at October 2021 HATOC.

Exeter Highways and Traffic Order Committee approved the Sweetbriar Lane scheme with a cost of £250,000 (as described above) funded from £50,000 Section 106 from Matford Green and £200,000 Emergency Active Travel Fund Tranche 2. The total cost as detailed above was within this cost threshold.
