1. Since most of our street light lumiere were changed to LED, the one outside no.4 Stoneyford Park has remained lit 24 hours a day, with unchanged lumiere. Please advise whether DCC council tax payers are paying the cost of the electricity for this particular street light in which I believe is situated in an unadopted part of our close?
All seven street lights in the Stoneyford Park have now been replaced with new efficient lighting but unfortunately it took longer to connect to the devices that controlled them remotely. This did take longer than we would have hoped but they are all working correctly.
2. At a time of increasing energy costs why are the remaining street lights in Stoneyford Park lit in the evenings until well into the small hours of the following morning?
Due to the communication fault the street light reverted to a safe mode and remained on all night but normally would follow the part night lighting timings with the new street being around 70% more efficient.
