I am writing to request a project directory which includes a list of subcontractors, suppliers and consultants & telephone numbers involved in the Southern Construction Framework 4. A prior information notice has been published for Southern Construction Framework 5 (SCF5) and can be viewed on Project Id: 22103071.
11 contractors to have been awarded on the Southern Construction Framework 4, which has commenced and will run for four years.
Lot 1: South West – projects valued over £2m (Total spend £500m – £1.5bn) – BAM Construction, Galliford Try, ISG, Kier, McLaren Construction, Midas (No Longer Trading), Morgan Sindall, Sir Robert McAlpine, Wates and Willmott Dixon
Lot 2: South East – projects valued over £4m (Total spend £500m – £1.75bn) – Galliford Try, ISG, Kier, Mace, Midas (No Longer Trading), Morgan Sindall, Wates and Willmott Dixon
Lot 3: London – projects valued over £5m (Total spend £900m-£2bn) – BAM Construction, Galliford Try, ISG, Kier, Mace, Morgan Sindall, Wates and Willmott Dixon
The framework is a joint initiative between Hampshire County Council and Devon County Council.
In total 27,248 suppliers are listed within the SCF database. These include suppliers who have tendered but not been selected to proceed with projects, also in some cases suppliers that have been engaged with projects that are subject to security clearance.
In order to ensure information related to projects subject to security clearance is properly excluded a review of all supplier information would need to take place prior to disclosure. It is estimated that this would take on average 1 minute per supplier and therefore in excess of 450 hours to complete the activity.
This is in excess of the appropriate time limit of 18 hours and therefore, pursuant to section 12 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000, we are not obliged to provide this information.
