Please could you please supply me the complete cost of both administrative, materials, and to physically change the signs for the 30mph to 20mph speed limits in both Sidmouth and Ottery St Mary.
The 20mph speed limit in Sidmouth was introduced in 2006, a copy of the traffic order relating to this scheme can be seen here: The County of Devon (Various Roads, Sidmouth) (20mph Zone) Order 2006.pdf . We no longer hold information about the total cost of this scheme.
The changes in Ottery St Mary have not been completed and therefore we do not hold the information on the complete cost. However, we can confirm that a budget of £150,000 has been allocated in 2024/25 and it was estimated that 4-6 new limits could be delivered with that budget.
