In response to Questions 2 and 3,
The two main sexual health clinics (in Exeter and Barnstaple) have had a consistent offer throughout the period 2018-2023, with the service offer developing during the Covid-19 pandemic to allow for more remote-access, including telephone clinics, on line testing and postal contraception and treatment.
These main clinics are complemented by community based clinics (hosted in community venues, mainly community hospitals, on a weekly or fortnightly basis), which were suspended in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. 4 have since reopened, including those serving those communities at the greatest distance from the two main hubs, and with poor public transport.
