Roadwork incidents as a result of sewage

Please provide me with the following information:
The number of roadwork incidents in your area that have been caused as a result of
sewage in:
a. 2020
b. 2021
c. 2022
d. 2023
e. 2024

To provide the data it would be necessary to identify all the permits raised and then assess each one to determine which may relate in any way to ‘sewerage’

By way of example, if we were to review South West Water only,  we can confirm that in 2024 they had 15,769 works starting in Devon. If raising and interrogating each record for the relevant information took 2 minutes, for just 2024 it would take approximately 525 hours.  This would be a manifestly unreasonable time to spend on a single request for information, which would not necessarily provide all of the information requested; the reference to South West Water was used by way of example.    It would not be in the public interest to devote a significant period of time to a single request of information and which would still not provide all of the information.   This would be manifestly unreasonable, pursuant to Regulation 12(4) (b) of the Environmental Information Regulations 2004 and disclosure of this information is therefore refused.

By way of advice or assistance, we therefore recommend that you contact South West Water for the information that they hold
