Road Maintenance Broadridge Lane

This request is in relation to the final 0.6 miles (approximately) from co-ordinates 50°52’08.0″N 3°45’16.5″W (50.868880, -3.754593) to the termination of the council maintained road at it’s most westerly point (50°52’15.4″N 3°46’02.7″W (50.870930, -3.767419).

1. Please provide a copy of your current road maintenance policy relating to that road, where the road includes all applicable highway infrastructure, including but not limited to the roadway, drainage etc. Please send me the full policy, but this should include details of the intended frequency of performance requirement inspections, how these inspections should be conducted, the criteria by which a defect is determined and the maximum time between identification of a defect and repairs being carried out.

2) A copy of the road inspection & repair history for that road over the past year. Again, please send me the full road inspection & repair history, but this should include: – dates of all inspections – details of how each safety inspection was undertaken (walked or driven, speed of inspection vehicle, type of inspection vehicle etc) & if the inspection was the entire 1.1 miles of Broadridge Lane, or if not the full length then specify the length of the dead end road that was inspected and/or co-ordinates that were inspected. – details of all carriageway defects identified, with description, location, date and time – details of how the authority handled these defects, what repairs were undertaken and the time between the identification of each defect and a repair being carried out.
