Over the same period, can you provide a list of roles within the planning department and the month/year they became vacant, and how many months each role was vacant for?

In response to these further questions, we can confirm that we do not hold a central record of this information. In particular:
1. expenditure and budget codes are shared by more than one team, it is not possible to disaggregate costs
2. there is cross-working by staff across teams
To extract this information from various teams within the council would take longer than the statutory limit of 18 hours. Therefore, pursuant to section 12 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 we are not obliged to provide this information.
