Please confirm that pedestrian junctions on the boundary roads of the Heavitree and Whipton Low Traffic Neighbourhoods will be improved if this trial is made permanent to allow safe pedestrian accessibility and from which budget this would come from?
Should the Active Streets Trial be made permanent, a review of the necessary infrastructure changes to facilitate this will be undertaken. It is not yet known what this will consist of as no decision has been made regarding the long term future of the trial. Permanent changes would need to be funded from capital funding sources, which could include Local Transport Plan Integrated Block and external grant funding.
