* The two main sexual health hubs (in Exeter and Barnstaple) have remained open throughout and the service offer developed during the Covid-19 pandemic to allow for more remote-access, including telephone clinics, on line testing and postal contraception and treatment.
The main clinics are complemented by community based clinics (hosted in community venues, mainly community hospitals, on a weekly or fortnightly basis). These were suspended in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. 4 have reopened, including those serving those communities at the greatest distance from the two main hubs, and with poor public transport.
